These days, you may find them in a wide range of buildings of all sizes and types. Think about getting metal roofing for your Oklahoma house or place of business.
You’re not by yourself in this situation. The appeal of metal is increasing. There are no other options besides asphalt shingles that are taken into account!
We are among Oklahoma’s top metal roofing contractors with more than ten years of experience installing various types of metal roofs. Unlike some nearby businesses that only “offer,” we are specialists in metal roofing. Count on our team of highly qualified, accredited, and insured specialists for your business’s metal roofing installation and maintenance needs!
Types of Metal Roofing
Stone Coated Steel Roofing
Steel is one of the most affordable metals that is available. Stone-coated steel, galvanized steel, and galvanized aluminum are the three main categories. The most repeated request we receive for both tin and galvanized metal roofs is this one.
Copper is thought to be the oldest metal roofing material due to its long history of use. It is also incredibly sturdy and has a 200-year lifespan. The construction of churches and commercial structures typically uses copper roofing, despite its rare use in residential constructions. Among business owners, copper is a preferred roofing material because
- It is lightweight as compared to other roofing products.
- It is very durable; it can last for over a century.
- It is energy-efficient, hence can help save electric bills.
- Copper roofs are also aesthetically pleasing and make for an attractive focal point for your structure.
Aluminum, one of the most common metals on the planet, is also thought to be one of the best building materials. Aluminum is the best material for coastal settings because of its excellent corrosion resistance. Because they are also recyclable, sturdy, and light, many business owners choose them over alternatives. It is also one of the roofing materials that are most widely available on the market.
Zinc is a well-known roofing material that is growing in popularity in the US construction industry. It can live for 100 years. However, depending on the environment in the area, it might last for more than 100 years. Additionally, because it is made from the ground, it is less dangerous, making it advantageous for the environment.
Why Choose Metal Roofing For Your Home?
The widespread use of metal roofing in Oklahoma is for good cause. Although standing seam metal roofing has several benefits, its main flaw is the high cost.
Aesthetics Of A Metal Roof
The texture and appearance of a metal roof are exceptional. Because of its streamlined and brilliant appearance, metal is a preferred building material. If you want to make your house look better, you might consider getting a metal roof.
Durability Of A Metal Roof
Metal is the only roofing material on the market that can withstand a storm! Metal has extremely strong wind resistance compared to asphalt shingles, which are more susceptible to hail damage. Metal roofing is becoming more and more popular among homeowners in hurricane and storm-prone areas due to its durability. You probably didn’t know this, but numerous insurance companies even offer discounts on metal roofs due to their longevity!
Lifespan Of A Metal Roof
Even though asphalt shingles are still the most used roofing material in America, metal is growing in popularity due to its high durability. An asphalt shingle roof typically lasts 15 to 20 years. In Oklahoma, asphalt roofs typically last 15 to 20 years, while some homeowners are able to get 25 years out of their roofs. A metal roof, on the other hand, could last for 40 to 50 years or more!
Cost Of A Metal Roof
The long term must also be considered, even though a metal roof initially costs more than an asphalt shingle roof. The lifespan of an asphalt shingle roof, which may only last 15 years, is more than triple that of a metal roofing system, which has a 50-year lifespan. In other words, compared to a metal roof, you’ve had to replace your shingle roof three times. You can determine if metal is more cost-effective for you in the long run by performing a cost-benefit analysis.

Our roof was done perfectly and in a timely manner. They even placed a tarp over a leak and spent over an hour doing that! Everyone was a pleasure to work with, very professional, and they were even a liaison for us through our insurance. The quality of the work was superb. Thank you so much for being a great company!

Brandyn came out to my fathers house and gave a great impression on us. He and his company definitely stick to integrity by the word. Wasn’t able to get a full inspection because of how steep our roof was. Most people will make a excuse, but they scheduled appointment to come out and do a drone inspection. A+ quality through and through.
